• Straight - This is the unprocessed natural hair texture.  It is very straight and can be silky as well.  It waves up slightly when wet.  It can be flat ironed, hot curled or roller set.
• Light Yaki -  This is an african-american permed texture which resembles a fresh perm.  It is a mix of the straight and yaki perm straight textures combined.  Therefore it is a little straighter then the yaki perm straight. This hair texture is similar to Megan Good or Tyra Banks.  It can be flat ironed, hot curled or roller set.
• Yaki Perm Straight - This is an african-american permed texture which resembles a perm after 2-3 weeks.  This texture is similar to Beyonce or Oprah.  It can be flat ironed, hot curled or roller set.
• Kinky Straight - This is an unpermed african-american hair texture.  It can be flat ironed, hot curled, or roller set.

Common Hair Texture Questions:

• What Kind of Hair is used? Our full lace wigs are made from 100% Remy Hair that comes from one single donor.  We have Asian Remy, Indian Remy, European Remy, Mongolian Remy, and Malaysian Remy.  The hair can be ordered in 6 textures - Straight, Light Yaki, Yaki Perm Straight, Natural Yaki, Wavy or Curly.
  
  
• What is Remy Hair?  Remy Hair is human hair that is collected directly from a single hair donor.  It is also referred to as Cuticle Hair, Virgin Hair and Cut Hair.  It is the softest and most natural hair on the market.  The majority of human hair sold in the industry is non-cuticle hair. The hair cuticle has been stripped by using an acid-bath. However, with Remy hair, this is not done, so the hair cuticle is intact, therefore the hair is stronger.  It also makes the hair softer and more natural and makes it so it does not tangle which allows it to be ideal for longer wear.
  
  
• Does the Yaki Perm Straight or Light Yaki Hair wave up when wet?  No, it does not wave up when wet.
  
  
• Does the Straight Hair wave up when wet?  Yes, the straight here does wave up when wet.
  
  
• Can the Wavy and Curly Units be Flat Ironed or Hot Curled? If you order a unit and select Wavy or Curly texture - that is a processed texture that is put into the hair with a perm for the wave or curl.  It should not be hot curled or flat ironed as it may over process the hair since it has a permanent perm already put into the hair.  The only units that can be hot curled or flat ironed are the Straight hair textures, Yaki Hair textures, or any unit that states that it is naturally curly or wavy.
  
  
• For Wavy and Curly Textures – Why would straightening the hair damage it if it is human hair?  Because a perm is used to process the wave or curl to make it permanent, therefore, applying heat to that perm could over process and/or damage the hair.
